Video Interview

I have video interviewed four people from my target audience and asked them various questions including what kind of music they like and what first attracts them to a magazine. I carried out these interviews in order to get a better understanding for who my target audience are so I can target my magazine towards them.

From this interview with 19 year old Ewan Stenhouse I have found out that he likes music magazines and he likes the front covers of the magazines because it is the first thing you see when you pick one up. Ewan tells me that he likes rock music and that it depends who is in the magazine that first attracts him to pick one up, he says that if it doesn't have too many pictures or to much text then it is better. I will take this information into account when I come to make my own magazine by making sure the front cover is done to the best of my ability so that it is eye catching so my target audience is more likely to pick it up.
