Diary Entry

Week One

31^st January – Today I looked at previous school magazines and chose one to look at in detail. I decided to choose the magazine ‘fusion’ which I then went on to analyse its front cover and contents page. Once I had finished the ‘codes and conventions’ page I posted it onto my blog.

1^st February – Today I went out and took the photos of my models that I am going to use on my school magazine. I took varied mid shots of one of my models; one on her own that will be used for the front cover. I also took photos that will be used on the contents page; these photos showing my models working on the computers and in science.

2^nd February – Today, I first looked through all of my photos which I cut down to the best ones that I will use on my magazine. I then chose the photo I am using as the front cover and started to do my front cover on Photoshop.

3^rd February – Today I began to construct my front cover for the school magazine. I came up with the magazine name ‘Social’.

4^th February – Today I finished off making my front cover and started to construct my contents page. I used a few photos on the contents page with them going down the right hand side.
